Art is Co-Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Parti Pris. He has executive responsibility for business strategy, organizational development, and key partner relationships.
In his leadership role, he calls upon his extensive experience and expertise in designing, building, and implementing large-scale wealth management organizations, services, and products to drive the development of Parti Pris’ services dedicated to portfolio personalization on behalf of financial advisors.
Art brings almost 40 years of financial industry experience to his position at Parti Pris. Previously, he served as President and Chief Investment Officer of Morningstar Investment Services. He has held several other executive positions including Executive Vice President and director of investment management at Fidelity’s Strategic Advisers, Direct of Individual Portfolio Strategies at Russell Investments, and Chief Investment Strategist at Orion Advisor Services.
Art holds a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology from Villanova University. In 1980, he was accepted to perform his doctoral studies in Organizational Development at Washington University in St. Louis but deferred his studies to pursue his career.
Art is a published author in several academic and industry journals and was a regular monthly columnist for the publications On Wall Street and Boomer Advisor Magazine while at Morningstar. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been a guest lecturer at Villanova, Wharton, Boston University, Northwestern University, and Harvard University.
